Good for team updates

I was looking for something to help my team keep track of product updates, and LaunchNotes popped up. I signed up for the free trial to check out their Release Management feature. It was pretty easy to get started, and it did what I needed. Everyone on the team found it useful. It's a solid tool, and I'll probably keep using it.

Helped with GTM alignment

My company needed a better way to align our product and marketing teams for releases, and I heard about LaunchNotes. I started with their 14-day free trial to really dig into the GTM Alignment Tools and the Analytics Dashboard. Setting up our first project, which included a new Product Roadmap and some Customer Notifications, was surprisingly straightforward. The custom branding options were a nice touch, making it feel more integrated with our existing tools. I also tested the Jira Integration, and it synced up perfectly with our development sprints. Delivery of the service itself was instant, of course, being software. Support was responsive when I had a question about multi-product support. It definitely helped us streamline our communication process and made sure everyone was on the same page for our recent launch. I'm pretty satisfied with how it's worked out.

Is there a free tier for LaunchNotes or just a free trial period?

B Brett Ito 2 months ago
They have a free trial, I think it's 14 days. Not sure about a completely free tier after that.

Just checked, it's a 14-day free trial. After that, you gotta pick a plan. No forever-free option I'm aware of.

My company is a non-profit, do you know if LaunchNotes offers any kind of discount for that?

L Laura 2 months ago
Pretty sure they do! Most SaaS companies have non-profit discounts. Worth asking their sales team directly.

Thinking of signing up for LaunchNotes for my startup. Do they have any special discounts for new companies?

C Colin L. 2 months ago
Yeah, I think they do. I heard about a startup program discount, might be worth asking about.

Anyone used both LaunchNotes and Productboard? Trying to decide which one to go with for roadmaps and announcements.

R Renee Hughes 1 month ago
I've used Productboard for a bit, it's good for feedback, but LaunchNotes felt more streamlined for public comms. Depends on your main use case.

LaunchNotes is more about the communication side, less about deep feature prioritization like Productboard. What are you mostly looking for?
